SMASHING PUMPKINS

Made for “Scary October Game Jam” 2013

I wanted to make a game for the Oculus Rift so I took the chance to make one in a weekend for the Scary October Game Jam. It’s a first person shooter survival game which pits the player against hundreds of demonic bouncing pumpkins. The pumpkins vary in sizes, speeds and strengths and they ALL laugh maniacally when they get close enough to you. It was a fun game to test out and play and I really liked being able to look behind me whilst running using the rift’s head tracking. I’ll definitely do another Oculus Rift game some day as it was really easy to get working in Unity.
