Made for “One Button Game” Design Challenge


Firewall was one of my earliest projects at university, one of the first things I made using Game Maker as a means of production. The player controls a virus attempting to break into a company’s computer system, but to do so must get through the many firewalls guarding precious data chunks. Upon pressing SPACE the player would drop a bomb on the firewall below, destroying some of the blocks – the player has to get to the bottom the level before they crash into any of the firewall’s chunks.
